Hi! I’m Alexis, but you can call me Lex!

I’m a Northern California based travel creator and content producer with a deep love for adventure. When I was 19 and still in school, I moved to Australia as an au pair. That experience changed everything for me and inspired me to create Ma I’m Fine, which started as a podcast and has since evolved into what it is today.

I went on to get my degree in Criminal Justice and spent three years working for a criminal defense attorney while building Ma I’m Fine at the same time. When the firm eventually closed, I took it as the sign I needed to go all in on it full time.

As a California native, I’ve always felt pulled to explore more of the world. From living in Australia to road-tripping across California, scuba diving in Mexico, and backpacking through Europe, Iceland, and the UK, travel has helped shape who I am in every way.

It has helped me navigate life more times than I can count. I didn’t find myself by staying in the same place or doing the same thing. I found myself by being pushed, challenged, and thrown into experiences that forced me to grow. And somewhere along the way, everything else started to fall into place.
